River of No Return Photo Club members took a field trip to the Lemhi County Fair on August 26. Back in my working days as a photo editor, I would tell photographers assigned to the Alameda County Fair to stay away from the swing ride. They didn’t, of course, and came back with some great photos. I couldn’t ignore it, either. The storm clouds building up in the distance were too tempting as a backdrop to the ride. Let me know which version you may prefer. I’m known for dramatic cloud photos, which star in several of this gallery’s photos.
